Update on Dogs That Had Bleach Thrown on Them

Kali was one of two dogs involved in a domestic violence and cruelty case. (Read their full story here.) Kali and her main squeeze, “Flash” have waited for months. According to the evaluator, Kali holds no fear or anger towards humans. She loves belly rubs and is gentle at taking treats. She absolutely loves toys and took every single toy and collected them in a pile. Our staff thinks she is the sweetest dog here.

Kali and her friend Flash, formerly known as Brandi and Bacardi, have had their wounds healed and now wait for holiday happiness that far surpasses their past life.

We continue to ask for donations to help with our Res-Q Fund to assist the efforts of helping sick and injured animals like Kali and Flash that need specialized, longterm or emergency medical attention. Donate here and help save lives!

For more information on these dogs, e-mail the Society about Kali or Flash <mailto:associatedhumane@aol.com>or call 973-824-7080. The Society is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, just off of Rt. 1 and 9, near the NJ Turnpike and the Newark International Airport. The Society is open 7 days a week — closed on Christmas
